McLaren repeated their Turkish Grand Prix performance of two weeks ago and clinched the top 2 poistions in the F1 Canadian Grand Prix on 13 June 2010.
Lewis Hamilton of McLaren, won the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday and finishing in 1 hour 34 minutes, followed 2 seconds behind by team mate Jenson Button in second place.
The results of the McLaren challenge has redefined the Championships tally and pushes Lewis Hamilton (109 points) and Button (106 points) to the top of the drivers championship, and top of the constructors table at 215 points.
Mark Webber, who was the tope contender in the championship table settled for 5th place in the race leaving him now in third position at 103 points, and the Redbull Team now in second position with 193 points. Tea mate Vettle finished in fourth place.
Alonso was pipped by Button near the end of the race and finished third, in the interviews he was not happy and believed he should have won the race.
Force India drivers Vitantonio Liuzzi and Adrian Sutil put on a good show completing the race in the 9th and 10th positions respectively.
Michael Schumacher was escaped penalties for a display of un-sportsmanship driving, and finished 11th with no points.
