Celebrate the glorious summer weather with fresh local produce,a community carnival or one of the many other events taking placein Casper this weekend.

Vegetables, fruits, herbs, plants, cut flowers, baked goods,olive oil, jam, garden decor and much more will be available at the Master Gardeners Farmers’ Markets , which begin at7:30a.m. today at the Agricultural Resource Learning Center, 2011Fairgrounds Rd.
The markets will be held every Saturday through Sept. 24.
The Salvation Army is hosting a CommunityCarnival from 4 to 6p.m. at organization’s offices at 625S. Jefferson St.. There will be free carnival games, a bouncycastle, obstacle course and a free bike raffle. All food and drinkis $1. The event is a fundraiser to support the global mission ofthe Salvation Army in 123 countries.
Murie Audubon’s second annual Sweet on Birds Dessert Sampling and Silent Auction, a family event to benefit theAudubon Center at Garden Creek, will be held from 6 to 8p.m.outdoors at the Audubon Center, 101 Garden Creek Rd.
Sample desserts from professional bakers and view and bid onunique bird houses, bird baths, and bird feeders created by reusingcommon items. Children can enjoy activities just for them. Bring achair or blanket to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of naturewhile listening to music by Matt Gross and Working Hands Band.
Get five delectable samples for only $10; 15 samples for $25.Coffee, tea and lemonade will be provided.

The first Sunrise ‘n’ Shine Car Show is todayand Sunday in the parking lot at Sunrise Shopping Center. Hours are9a.m. to 4p.m. today and 10a.m. to 2p.m. Sunday. There will befood, music, sock hops and lots of categories in which to entervehicles.
