Holland Bulb Farms recently announced the first iMyGarden Design Challenge which encourages iPhone users to submit their best garden design for a chance to win up to $1000 worth of fall planted flower bulbs, such as tulips and daffodils, for their garden.

Holland Bulb Farms , a leading online flower bulb retailer, recently began accepting entries into its first ever iMyGarden $1000 Design Challenge . This challenge, which began on Monday, August 15th and runs until Sunday, September 18th, encourages iPhone, iPod, and iPad users to develop their best, most creative garden design using the recently released iMyGarden app, whose slogan is “Dream. Design. Dig.”. A recent update to this app contains an option to automatically upload a design directly to the challenge. Each participant is allowed one entry into the challenge, that being the most recently uploaded design by the participant. One first, one second, two third, and ten honorable mention prizes will be awarded in differing amounts of regularly-priced merchandise from Holland Bulb Farms contained in the garden design submitted. This includes all fall planted flower bulbs, such as tulips, daffodils, hyacinth, allium, and more. These merchandise prizes are in the amounts of $1000 for the first place winner, $500 for the second place winner, $250 for the third place winners, and $25 for the honorable mention winners. All of the submitted designs will be reviewed and judged by a panel of three horticulturalists. This panel will include Melinda Myers, a well-known expert gardener and author of more than 20 books on various gardening topics. These winners will be announced on Tuesday, October 4th,
