Garden Landscaping | Gardeners ‘should Stay Safe’

Gardeners performing DIY tasks outside should ensure they stay safe, according to one professional.

Garden landscaping expert David Smith, of DG Garden World, said in an article for aboutmyarea.co.uk that people must avoid operating electrical equipment in wet conditions.

The sockets utilised by devices such as lawn mowers and power tools should be protected by a residual current device, he continued.

Homeowners with young children may wish to put fencing around their pond or drain it, as well as keep all of their garden tools “securely locked away” when not in use, the expert added.
