Garden Landscaping | Grimsby Pupils Learn Gardening Skills

Lincolnshire schoolchildren have been trained in garden landscaping , thanks to a Grimsby in Bloom initiative.

Schools were urged to grow flowers and shrubs in a wheelbarrow as part of a competition, the Grimsby Telegraph reports.

Local businesses paid for the gardening tools , compost and seeds, including Your-Office Virtually, which supported the winning design planted by Springfield Primary School pupils.

“We learnt about needing to look after plants. We put in toys near to the plants so they looked like they were creeping out of the jungle,” five-year-old Cole Roberts
