Garden Landscaping | Public Orchard Installed In Manchester City Centre

DIY enthusiasts planning garden landscaping projects might want to visit a public orchard that will be installed in Manchester city centre.

Designed by Daniela Coray, a gold medal winner at the Royal Horticultural Society, it will be located in St John’s Garden in Castlefield.

It includes wildflowers such as Viper’s Bugloss, perennial herbs and 12 crab-apple trees laid out in a pattern representing traditional fruit orchards in rural locations.

This is part of a wider Manchester Garden City scheme, which aims to permanently increase the amount of green land in the central business
