Home And Garden | Residents See Home And Garden Options At Annual Show
THE WOODLANDS”Home and garden enthusiasts came from all over thenorth Houston area to shop, look, and learn at the 9th annual FallHome and Garden Show on Sunday afternoon at the WaterwayMarriott.
The show began Saturday, Texas Wood Shows President Tony Woodsaid, and provided homeowners an opportunity to look for ideas,products, and services for their home.
“This ia great networking event for people looking to do thingsto their home,” Wood said. “Considering what’s going on with theeconomy and the political things that happened in August, it’s beena pretty good show and the vendors are happy.”
Wood said he also has shows in Cy-Fair and Sugarland, andresidents come because they’re always looking for the latest inhome improvements.
Patricia Consford is a Conroe resident now, but said she came tothe Home and Garden Show because she and her family are building ahouse in New Waverly.
“This is our second year coming, and I like seeing all thedifferent options out there,” Consford said. “We saw threedifferent companies who made water softeners; it’s good to havesomething to compare things against.”
