“What is the best and most efficient way to lose fat and weight effectively and efficiently?” I hear this question a lot as a professional trainer, and when I tell clients what I think a lot of times I get a rather strange look. A lot of people are searching for the right answer to the question on “how to lose weight and fat quickly”. Our society is much more sedentary than it used to be, and unhealthy processed foods are bountiful. When asked, “Are you partaking of cookies, and cakes, and hamburgers, and French fries, etc.” the typical answer is yes. So is there any wonder why so many are so unhealthy, and so overweight?

Back to my earlier statement on what should people do to lose weight. First, become aware of what you are putting in your body. Change begins from the inside out. When people begin changing what they put in their bodies, the body responds by making changes to its appearance. This makes sense right? If you go out and drink booze all night, you wake up the next day and more often than not, don’t feel to good. On the other hand if you ate super nutritious fruits and vegetables, and supplemented your diet with nutritional supplements your body would start to take on a whole new life. So my first statement to clients when I begin working with them is become aware of what you are putting in your body. Create a journal, and track every piece of food you put in your mouth for several weeks. You may think I’m joking but just because you eat well for a few days doesn’t mean you will keep it up, hence journal your eating for weeks, and the true story will start to come out.

Now on to marketing. How many programs have you seen on the market that make outrageous claims? A lot I’m sure and the reason is because there is such a high demand for weight loss systems and products, that marketers are having a field day with these people. This makes it very difficult to select the right product or system.

This is where people like myself come in. As a professional natural bodybuilder, I’ve seen nearly everything and I know what works and what doesn’t work. The first smell test is that a genuine and effective program will require you to change your diet; and will most certainly require you to perform some form of regular exercise.
