In the first ODI, England defeated Bangladesh by six wickets where Bangladesh scored 250/9 in 50 overs and England achieved the target in 45.1 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Junaid Siddique (51) and Raqibul Hasan (76) are the top scorers from Bangladesh side. England skipper, Andrew Strauss (50) and Ian Bell (84) are top scorers from England side.
Earlier, both the teams met in two test series where England defeated Bangladesh with 2-0. Later, Bangladesh participated in Asia Cup 2010 but kicked off early in the league stage. England squad is full of young men and they won against Australia recently. England team is continuing their good form after the winning the 2010 ICC Twenty20 title in West Indies.
England is looking for two changes due to the unavailable of Pietersen and Swann. Tredwell and Ajmal Shahzad are ready but their place in the starting line-up will be decided by the captain, Andrew Strauss whether he will go with two spinners or not.
Bangladesh coach, Jamie Siddons is looking to go with same squad that played against Middlesex. Mortaza and Shaiful Islam will bowl the new ball. Jamie will drop the Raqibul Hasan and looking to go reduce the spinners.
